Burn
Watch as they fall to the floor like ash.
How the pain won't last forever.
This wretched world enduring.
As the fire continues churning.
This sickness that divides, such anger that resides.
The mind is impure, locked within this sepulcher.
Commit me to the stake, deliver me to peace.
I accept this agony, as the seconds slowly find release.
With my final breath, I can only dream of my freedom.
Now I know how I have beat them.
Only to imagine what my heartstrings have been enduring.
Yet all I can think is how I'm no longer scared of burning.
